In Service Procedures
In service testing and tagging shall include where applicable the following.
- External inspection of flexible leads (visual inspections) 80% of all faults are picked up by this inspection alone.
- Protective earth continuity tests.
- Confirmation of correct polarity of live connections , to see if someone has repaired a lead correctly if it had been Re -wired at any stage.
- Insulation resistance testing which tell us if a wire or component in your appliance is damaged in any way.
WE DON’T JUST PUT TAGS ON APPLIANCES…WE DO FULL TESTING WHERE NEEDED FOR YOUR PROTECTION.
Unsafe Equipment
All unsafe equipment is tagged with DANGER DO NOT USE TAGS and disposed of correctly as per AS/NZ3760 or reported to the manager/owner for repairs if possible.
Licensed Contractors
All our Techs are fully licensed both with the Queensland Electrical Board, and QBSA (LIC NO 1161316) for Test and Tag and Emergency Exit Lighting for your protection. SITE COLOURS FOR TAGS (QLD ) …are as follows: Dec-Feb (red), March-May (green), June-August (blue), Sep -Nov (yellow) 6monthy ( white )
Insurances
Again we are fully insured with a 20 million dollar public liability policy.
